1. Sit it on the seat. Place the seat on the back bench and lay the 18 cm flap flat behind it, over the upholstery — that flap is your travel mat.
2. Strap it to the headrest. Pass the two adjustable straps around the headrest posts, buckle them and pull tight. This is what stops it tipping forward when you brake.
3. Run the seatbelt through the side loops. Feed your car's seatbelt through the loops on the outer panel and buckle up as normal.
4. Clip him in. Attach the internal safety clip to your dog's harness — never to a collar.
